I wrote this poem/song when I was 18. We won't say how long ago that was, okay people?

Imagine a folk guitar deal, sort of like Tracy Chapman meets the guy who sang that soul song "Always and Forever".

The River

Looking for the river to
You
Everytime I
Close my
Eyes and
Dream.

Searching for a gateway to your
Love
When
Ever I
Start to
Sleep.

It seems that
I can't ig
Nore
All these emotions
Swirling like oceans, and I
Feel the rain
Failing from my eyes I
Cry, I
Sigh for
You.

Thinking of a boat I will
Build. That will take me
To my
Desti-
Nation.
Thinking of the day I will
Yield
To my in
Fatuation.
What would I do with
Out you?
With no reason to
Love or
Live?
Looking for the River to your
Love, while I
Still have
Love to
Give.

It seems that

Nore
