The love we made.
The breath we shared.
The words I spoke.
Your feelings smeared.

I spoke in haste.
I did not mean.
The way you thought
I split a seam.

I meant to praise
To lift you high
But all you did
Was say goodbye.

'Tis not the end.
Of the world you say,
"I will love you
On another day.

"I need to think
about myself.
To clear my head
and gain my health.

Of heart and mind
So I may love
So you may ne'er
Have enough."

Well this I say
To you.
"Do I have not feelings too?
And yet I will wait for you."
