It's cold and gray outside today
And all the flowers have wilted away
The sun refuses to show it's face
Cuz death is all around this place

Everyday is as slow as can be
I pass by people whom I cannot see
There is no relief from the pain
As I stand outside in the pouring rain

Life ain't worth living if I'm just gonna die
My head hangs low as I stand there and cry

The pain is very real and strong
Something is so terribly wrong
I've waited so long for someone to show
Why she hasn't, I don't know

It feels like I've been standin here for so long
Waiting to join her in that place she doesn't belong
