Am I a leaf just blowing in the wind, so easily forgotten once my journey is done?

Or am I something more, a soul to flourish like a flower in the warm sun?

Will I be so readily lapped from your consciousness, just as same as the next?

Or will I be remembered by so many people never to be lost?

Have you ever thought of how much your life means in the big picture?

Exactly how many people will remember your name, or even your face?

When you think about it, how much does your life mean to other people?

How many people have even got to know you for you?

When you ask someone how they are do you stop and lend an ear to their response?

If someone needs your help do you alleviate them, or do you rudely ignore them?

Deep inside your soul, are you a good person or don't you really know?

I bet you haven't taken all that much time to ponder it, have you?

How many material posessions can you take with you in the end?

And yet, how many true friends do you really have (I bet it isn't that many)?

How many people can honestly say you have had an effect on their lives?

What are your priorities, your house, your car, your petty job?

I think there is one thing that should come before all of this, don't you?

Cherish your true friends, or they may be gone as fast as you can turn around.

I do think about these things, but a wonderful job at making me revisit them. Wonderfully done, Angel. I cannot wait to see more.
