What do you see
In this face
The tears in my eyes
Or the red in my cheeks
You look to see
Deeper perhaps
But without loving my soul
All your left with is that

I know you had loved
Or so I thought
Me or another
At least
Another I'm sure
Or you'd be able to see

Beneath my eyes swollen
With tears
And my cheeks burned with pain
Was you without the love
To be able to see
