This face that was once so clear to her
is now slowly fading away
the memory of his touch
just seems to fill her body with pain.
But life goes on as it never ends
and the day he left plays over and over again.
A long glance with so much meaning
was all she recieved.
No words exchanged, none really needed
because sometimes the most powerful words one can say,
are those left unspoken.
This memory is so vivid in her mind
but it's his face that she can't seem to find.
As much as she remembers, as hard as she tries
she can't fight whats happening inside.
She is starting to forget,
they are slowly fading further and further away from one another.
To spare these feelings, to save them from this pain
he must return.
He must return before his already fading face,
fades out of her memory forever.
