She's totally suicidal She can't run from what's inside Eating at her soul And still they feed her more She lies there on her bed She's trying to escape the demons in her head They play with her mind But it's fine She wants to tear them apart Too sentimental to rip out her heart They're slicing up her brain But she's too numb to feel the pain Is there an escape from what's inside? Wow. I can relate to this poem. I was a depressed lil freak for months..but I'm better now. Good job on the poem. Poems really explain how a person feels don't they? |

Hello. I would like to thank you all for replying to this poem (and all the others). I wrote this on Valentine's day of this year. It's basically about me and my parents- as they have they i.q. of pickles and decide to ground me for the dumbest things they can think of. And in a way, it is just about my whole life in general. Writing is my life and I'm glad that you can relate to it. All I wanted was for someone to be able to relate to what I'm saying and maybe change them in some way. And just to be able to express my feelings in wrting, because it is the only way I've ever known how. But thank you all so much....... ------------------ Jamie ~don't let your love pass you by....~ |
