i dont know how to say this but i need advise.

How do you help a friend with a problem. but he doesnt want any help and at this point wheres he at im very conserned about him.... i dont know what to do.. i dont want to be force-full and annoying and try to help him in fear it might kill our friendship. But then i dont want to not help him... im conserned and worried about what can happen... I'm just in a wirlwind of emotions and i dont know how to get out.... please i could really use the advise.

Are you serious?  If your friend needs professional help? Try your best to help him.

Talk to his parents, or any nearest relative that can help him get the help he needs. Tell them you are concerned, and perhaps he is in need of professional assistance. If you are not a professional, then the best you can do is find those who are. At least, and above all, he knows of your concern for his welfare.

Falling rain, you may tell him about pip. He might just want to use poem to express his inner thought.

Zach, Hey Buddy..how you doing? Point Kegan at this post & let him see it for himself. He will then see & know that you care for him, I would not talk to his folks at this point. I have spoken to Keagan via the board in the past. If he needs a friendly ear, someone that will listen and not judge, you have my private email addy, pass it on to him and tell him to mail me anytime he needs to.  You are a good friend to him & I am pleased that you are finding other things to occupy you now, stay positive,  both of you....

Cheers  John

Zach,

You are a good friend.  I hope I have a friend like you when I need one.

Alison

----

Okay, I just read in the teen poetry section and came back here.  I don't think I am supposed to post there.

Keagan and Zach,

You share a friendship that is very special.  It might last the rest of your lives - and how nice if you live to a ripe old age, sitting in your rocking chairs, gumming potato chips, drinking beer and talking of your younger days.  You might just make it, you guys.

I think you both have showed a lot of courage in expressing yourselves here in PiP.  Keagan, it ain't fun to have your situation laid out for all of us to share - but many of us do care.  I hated being a teenager.  It truly sucked for me - but, I survived and am so damned glad that I did.

I hope that you are not a cutter.  If you are, please, seek some help for that.  It's not something that I understand, but I hate to think of you cutting on yourself.  It sounds very lonely and destructive on that one body that you have.  So many people that I know are struggling to stay alive right now.  They would cry to think of you cutting something that they would cherish.  Think about it, Keagan.  Please.

I respect you both a great deal.  I would have emailed you both and said this privately, but you don't have emails offered to us.

I wish you, Keagan and Zach, a long friendship and the ability to ride out this teen time you are in.  If you haven't seen the movie, Miss Merry Sunshine (or whatever it is) try to watch it.  The movie is not something you would probably seek out, but you might understand the teenage boy in that movie.

Anyway, enough - just know that I am thinking of you both.

Alison

You are both welcome - thanks for letting me know that you read what I had to say (grins).  You know, I can talk a lot.  Big surprise there, huh.

The movie is actually "Little Miss Sunshine".  It's funnier than heck (edited from normal bad language that I use).

Anyway, g'nite.

Zach,

Thank you for letting me know that you watched it and ... loved it too.  I see you both in that one guy who hates everyone.  (grins)  I don't think you hate everyone - but being a teenager sure sucks the big one.

Glad you are here.

Alison

PS - it does get better
