~just needing to express this...it's a dark blue night, and I need for it to change to a soft pastel yellow before midnight, when my shift begins~
thanking you in advance for the hugs

BIG bear hug sis. Anytime.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Blue is my favorite color.
And the dark night focuses me on the stars.

thank you friends
I am sorry to be such a crybaby, but today was an even harder pill to swallow

it took me over a month to get this job...went through Red Cross trng in CPR/First Aid; security checks; three interviews...only worked with 5  special needs clients two weeks on 'graveyard shift'...then 'batman' suddenly passed away in his sleep...I had to be there all night with his...body and spirit in the next room, as hospice procedures meant they wouldn't come and take him until noon the next day

then this morning...I was told the funding for my job has been eliminated...as of today, please go apply for a different position with different clients, go for another interview and keep fingers your crossed...
sigh, at least I didn't get trashed by a violent storm

but I am suddenly so depressed, I cannot even think or talk, and am having trouble filling out another application, printing another resume with my home printer spazzin on me, begging for a new cartridge and needing "realignment of the head"...yep, that's what I need...a realignment of my head
and then watching the news, Biloxi, New Orleans....OMG

Midnitesun, You who are so often words of wisdom and caring, take heart.I understand your plight. We who seem so strong have our down days too. The tears stay in but seem to fill us to a point we just need to get it out, any way we can, and this is a good place to come.  Take a deep breath, sit down and relax a while, or better yet take a walk if you can. Best to you, martyjo p.s. my
e-mail address is there if you need to write it out.

Honey, there are strange things going on - for so many of us - even outside the ravages of nature.  Don't hold your breath - go ahead and breathe...several deep ones - and we'll manage to muddle through this together.  I DO know what you are going through...[trust me...]

Love, K

Kacy, hope its going ok for you now. Obviously I have not been here much, and just now read your words. Sorry to hear all that, life is so strange, I wonder sometime if we don't all need a re-allignment, like your printer. In light of the natural and governmental disaster going on, I feel guilty saying it, but I am pretty down too.
Just sending hugs, what more can we do? Hang in and hang on and hope..
Sandra
