Well hello thAR!

So where have you all been? Most importantly, where have I been?

The truth... some one locked me in a closet and I couldn't get out. Twas a sad sad situation, indeed

But i am back and I would like for everyone to know that we need some more activity in the teen poetry forum.

Come out of the bushes guys and gals!!!

My feeling is this: The forum is slow, so what can we do to make it an active place for us teens to meet up, read, give feedback, and generally have a good time?

If it's inspiration you lack- IM ME...ill give you some! lol

If it's people you like- well come on down to teen poetry.....share, compare, write, share your insight....

let's do it like we know we can

looking forward to hearing from all of you.
Feel free to contact me- I don't bite too hard.

I don't know, man... I think the whole Teen #3 crowd is pretty much gone.  Just a few of us left & dispersed.

So are you going to make Teen Poetry a real hit again?  That'd be cool.  From what I remember you pretty much brought all the life into that place.

Good luck though.

Sup Local...

Well Im hoping to bring the place back to life, yeah.

But im going to need help. And I definitely need more people to participate in posting, but most importantly in REPLYING.

I see most of the replies being "hey great! Good job! blblablablabla"

I don't know about you folks, but i like to add spice! Some flava! tee-hee

I mean, if we're poets we might as well not only write poems but reply in elaborate and witty/funny/cool/interesting ways too, eh?

it gives the place personality and charm.

im going to do my share, and the best part of this little picker-uper is that it's so EASY

i found that i dont get many if any replies to what i write in teen #3 or any teen whatever so i write in dark poetry not that the number of replies are any better but the people spend more time with the replies at least. i'll think about putting stuff up in teen #3 again. later

Welcome back man, not a teen #3 man myself but I did arrive during the golden days of teen #4. I do admire the effort that you put in back then and the efforts that you are proposing, right now though I do feel that you are facing an up hill struggle. Good to have you back anyway

I rarely have posted in the teen section. Don't know why.

Since I began to blossom here when I was sixteen, despite posting in Open instead of Teen, I decided to lend my thoughts here too.

It is sad to see the absence of teen poets here. Teenage years are one of the most important parts of anyone's life where every young person needs all the encouragement and support possible, as it can be so tumultuous and emotional for too many with their hormones raging, learning how to spread their wings and extend their roots, and learning to be responsible while also knowing how to hold dear their inner-child forever and have fun in life.

Though I never posted poetry in the Teen forum, with my excuse being that I seemed to be able to relate more to my teachers than to peers my own age in school and felt Open could give me a more broader audience, I sympathize and lend my heart very much to all teen poets, and want them to be rest assured I am with them and hope with all my heart if the Teen Forum can't achieve a golden age like it used to that otherwise we have many teen poets gracing the Open forums like me as I was growing up.

I am 20 now, but I must say I feel younger than ever before! Pablo Picasso once said, "It takes a long time to become young!" and I believe it. We ARE forever young, but it takes us a while to understand and believe that. For some it takes most of their lives to believe that, but regardless, we are young forever and I am praying more teens find their way here and can carry the torch forever for young voices and inspire all.

Sincerely,
Noah Eaton

Hmmm... I think I arrived sometyme during Teens #2... Twas really quiet back then...Did we all grow up and go separate ways? HMM.. mabbe...I don't reply as much because i don't often get to my computer, since I moved out of my parents house when the baby was born. I've come into visit, but haven't really said much. now that Harvey's getting older, im going to have tyme to write again, hopefully... Trust me, I have plenty to rant and vent about right about now. I'm awaiting the work .

Have you ever heard that "No shirt, No shoes" rule? My question is...Why doesn't that rule include pants?

Good luck, man.

I remember when I was an active member here, a few years back. The Teen Forum was a great place for interaction and encouragement in writing.

hey,
i think i've been here since '01, and i don't know...it hasn't gotten that bad has it? i still like coming here. i'll admit, posts don't get as many replies as they used to, but that is easily changed.  i miss the old members, but a lot of the new members are really talented as well.  just my thoughts...
