where the wild flowers grow

I was recently informed about the putting up for adoption of the 7 kittens in our cat, Stevie's, last litter.

I've become really fond of these little fuzzy things, having been around them for so long..

I don't know if anyone's ever experienced something so heartbreaking as this.. but I wish I could just keep all of them, I'll miss them so much..

*sigh*

I'd recently also lost a dog to parvo, having just gotten over that.. it makes it ten times harder for me to say goodbye to all these beautiful kittens.. They've grown on me, and if I could afford them.. I'd keep each and every one..

I'm just really saddened about this..

Dear girl...multiply your love, times seven.  I know what it is to give up babies.  Of any kind.  Heck, you should have seen me the first time, some 11 years ago, I had to give up my CALVES....knowing that they, the male calves, would only go to feeders, and the female calves...they would live on for a few years, bearing babes of their own.

38 babes...being taken from their mothers.  You should hear the cows bawl for the first two nights.  Calling for their babes.  But...

your kittens will go to loving homes.  You have the choice of who they go with.  You will know that this person is not a responsible one; or that person is not equipped to give love.  Pick and choose the right families...

as you gift out their love, time seven.

No, it's not easy.

Yes, it is a good thing that you are doing.

If i could, I'd look after one for you.
but i'm sure they'll go to loving homes meg, you make sure of it. at leastthen more people can benefit from the love of a cat.

if anyone took my kitty away, I'd die though, and still miss the ones i've lost.

today i was making mine chase me in the garden. was the most fun i've had in ages.

hugs meg.

I'm sorry.... I'm still miss my dog, and he's been gone for almost two years now.... I know how you feel.

Kielo

I'll never forget you.... I know that much, despite my foolishness.

I'm sorry Meghan. I really get attached to my pets. It hurts so bad to lose one for whatever reason.

I honestly don't know what I would do if I lost my Scooter doggy. He feels just like my little toddler. He is so cute. Though I've always loved my pets, I've never felt like one of them was really human until I got Scooter. I get more attached to him every day, it seems.

Heart hugs to you, sweet lady
