Hey... there's something going on thats bothering me, and I thought I'd ask your advice about it. I'm 18 and a lot of my friends are as well, and they like to go to the clubs every chance they get. Thats cool for them and all.. but I feel kind of left out. I mean.. my friend that almost always goes out with me just says "Oh, I'm going to the club instead". She invites me to go too.. and I wouldn't really mind (although I don't drink or anything, I'd go and chill), I'm not allowed and my parents are mad at me already. Am I overreacting or do you think that my friends should try to hang out with me at least every other Friday or whatever? It's awfully lonely....

Oh, make me Thine forever
And should I fainting be
Lord, let me never ever
Outlive my love for Thee

Tell them how you feel and see how they react. If they don't care and dismiss the conversation, then maybe your friends don't really consider your feelings.

Tell your parents that you'd like to have a party at your house once a month. Make it special (no drinking!!) and invite your friends..and invite some people who may not have any place to go either - those NOT in your group. Then see what happens.

Hey doll..this happens to me sometimes too (I'm 16). Don't worry too much about it just tell your friends how you feel, if they're good friends they will understand and start hanging out places where you can go too. They will make the effort and understand its not your decision to not go to the clubs its your parents'. It'll all work out babe...fads pass like going to the clubs ALL the TIME..you're friends will see it sooner or later. Hope I helped

Hey girlie, I'd open up to your friends and your parents.  Tell your parents that you're lonely and that maybe you could go to a club (maybe you could find a non-alcoholic one?) every once in a while.  Also tell your friends about your situation.  If they're good people, they should understand and be willing to make some sort of compromise in order to include you sometimes. I've never had this problem before, but I think that if I did, that's what I'd do.  I hope I helped a bit!
