I need some impartial advice, my boyfriend just came back from Amsterdam, he went with his mates, he admitted that he had slept with two other girls and said how he had to be honest and that it meant nothing and it was just that he was drunk and he was on a lads holiday and now really regrets it all, i dumped him but now am not sure, he has done alot for me and we went out for about seven months, what I want advice on is, is it the same if he cheats on me when he is abroad and drunk and with his mates etc, is it different from him sleeping with a girl at home, and he did own up to it, I don't know, well give me your opinions does cheating on holiday count?

How old are you and your boyfriend?

Did he practice safe sex and use protection?

This is strictly MY opinion - cheating is cheating...why should it be ok just because he was on a holiday with his friends?

If he does it "on holiday" he'll do it at home. But only you can decide if that is OK or not. Hope you are being 'safe.'

I don't think it is OK to cheat, he has hurt me very much but I think he may be really sorry and that he was just caught up in the feeling of being on a lads holiday, mabey I am deluding myself

It was nice that he was honest. But, frankly, he should now take that honesty somewhere else.

So nobody thinks cheating on holiday is in anyway different, yeah if I'm honest I know that anyway, I think this was just my last half hearted attempt to justify his actions to myself, it hasn't worked, I mean really all I have had is three days of solid advice on this from my friends telling me to keep away from him, well time to be honest with myself and accept the fact that although i still care for him all trust is gone

Ok, bad joke. I personally think that if my partner were to cheat on me whilst they were on holiday, it'd be fine as long as I could do exactly the same thing back to them. More often than not, it always comes back to, "But that'd make ME feel uncomfortable" and they wouldn't allow it. It's double standards, chicka. Don't put up with that crap. You're unhappy about it and don't think that it's right so that means don't accept it. You've done the right thing. Keep him away and find someone that is deserving of your time.

nah cheatings the same where eva you go. if you should take him back? thats up to you he was honest. But if you cant trust him again then I'd say lose him.

Just a quick thankyou for all your advice, it has helped me, just to let you know I have finished it completly with this guy and to be honest I feel like a weight has been lifted! Have got 'clousure' you might say, thankyou again,
