Finally, my good poet friends, I have an appointment with an oral surgeon to remove two teeth that have had me in agony for well over a year. Okay. Simple enough--right?
But my Dr.'s name?---Dr. Akin...(DR. ACHIN'????)
and the time of my appointment?
----2:30...(TOOTH HURTY?)

AH HAH HAH HAH HA....ooo..ouch. (serenity exits, grinning a soon to be somewhat toothless grin...)

Shaking my head...only in MY life...heh heh heh

'howpeculiar' that you should say that! I think Karen needs all the 'serenity' she can find in her life right now. And I sure wish I knew some guy who'd say 'open wide'!

Serenity, I remember my husband telling me a joke about someone going to the dentist and grabbing the dentist in his very delicate private area and saying "You don't hurt me and I won't hurt you." Oh well it was just a suggestion.

Sharon? I was going to suggest a gynecologist, but then, if my memory serves me right...they just say--"scoot down"...

sigh...and therein lies another tail...oh..heh heh...tale.

try having braces now that is torture,
they have funky drugs to numb your jaws and gums... getting teeth removed is painless
but having braces that is painful and annoying

Oh yes, ARGH is a good way to describe the dentist. Evil, evil people. Those tools they have are scary as all hell!!

Ouch!!  I hope everything went well... that doctor name thing... that reminded me.  When I had my first knee surgery, my doctor's name scared me a bit too.  Dr. Cutter.  Doesn't calm nerves, does it?     Hope everything's fine now...
