Over the river and through the woods

I am SO sick of my significant other.  Every time we go out, he’s checking out all these other woman when I am RIGHT THERE WITH HIM! He’ll even point them out to me, “Ooooh, look! She is SO hot!” Gee, thanks, that did SO much for my self-esteem. And what about unjustified rudeness? When I go over to kiss him goodbye in the mornings I practically get smacked in the face! I’ve been told several times to … well, “go away” in not so pleasant terms. He makes a mess and leaves it; orders me around like I am a slave. He won't let me have friends over or let me go out with people, BUT he can have people over and go out when ever he wants. He goes on a fishing trip instead of spending time with his children while they are in the hospital. I am so tired of this chauvinistic way of life! I am so tired of being repressed! I am not a machine for Christ’s Sake! My role in life is not to be a maid, or an item to dangle from his arm! And he is SO irresponsible! We have nothing in the pantry, no dog food, and last week he bought a CAR!!!
AND ALL he ever thinks about is SEX SEX SEX! I am SO sick of it! AAAARGH!

Beth you must learn that the man is the master in a relationship. What he says is law....

PoEt Divine,
I can't believe that you think that men have any rule voer women! That is just disgusting! I can't believe that you really think this way! You must be a man. You need to learn a few things about human decency.

Elizabeth, I'm so sorry that you have to put up with this jerk! If I was you, I'd pack my bags and say "bye bye!". I know that this person and his supossed charm may be holding you in, but just imagine him looking like he does in his passions pic every day, and that should help ya along! Anyway, if you ever need to vent some more, e-mail me!

Beth, I am so sorry to see this post.  I can't believe that HE would be so rude as to check out other women when he has someone like you at his side - ESPECIALLY while you are right there with him... What's wrong with this guy?   And pushing you away when you try to kiss him, jeeze...  The man should realize how lucky he is to have you there, and he should open up to your affectionate side, not condemn you for it.  Your significant other sounds like a real selfish SOB to me - no woman deserves to be treated as such.  Maybe it's time for you to think about yourself and your needs for a change as well as where this type of  relationship will lead you without some sort of change.

Thank you LoveBug and Michael for your enthusiastic support, you don't know how much it means to me...
I've been with this jerk for almost six months now and I don't know why I've put up with it for so long. If he leaves ONE more pair of dirty underwear on the sink I'm moving in with my mother!

Why not move your mother in with you? That could solve some problems!

I don't know, PdV.  From what it sounds like this guy's likely to hit on her mother too...

It could be worse Department:

Last year a friend of mine upgraded Girlfriend 1.0 to Wife 1.0 and noticed that the new program installs itself into all other programs during system initialization and monitors ALL other system activity. Applications such as Beerbash 2.5 and late_night 2.00 no longer run, crashing the system whenever selected. I can not seem to purge Wife1.0 from my friend's system. He is thinking about going back to Girlfriend 1.0 but un-install does not work on this program.

Sven, do you mean you want to share Chris or you want a piece of Michael?

... Christoper a.k.a. Dirt Bag a.k.a. Slime Under a ROCK:  you talkin' to me or mah muther? Keep talkin' like that and Mr. Screwdriver's gonna meet Mr. Happy...

scary side note: Before the colors and makeup were exaggerated to give C that "Drag done in Photoshop" look... when he just had the blond hair and a few false lashes? He was actually sorta purty...

THis kind of a trade secret that I should not be telling but all the best men, the most charming perfect men are single men!
There you go if you want the perfect man find a single man his powers of charm will only fade when he is not single.

how do I know this for sure.. well because I am single.

so if anyone wants to help find the chauvinist slob in me....
