Ok I have to say this right now but my muse is driving me mand I suddenly have a need to turn every thought every emotion, every feeling and every place in to words like lifes one big song and I can never come to an end to it. Which kinda half scares me and half at peace with it. I cant for the love of me stop writing and I want to go to bed. Only I cant. Ok just getting it off my chest.

Don't ever give in, if you do you've lost everything you've ever had and everything you hope to gain, but if you carry on your already winning.

I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN! *geesh* I had MAJOR insomnia not so long ago in here, and also..lately I've been consumed by the need to write. Its a good thing for sure, but a girl I work with today made a comment I actually considered. She said that sometimes its like your muse has a whip and uses it mercilessly. I AGREE, but I'm not complaining except that my hands are tired! LOL!

I'd rather write forever than never write at all

I agree with Dopey

I think my muse asked Cupid to finally shoot me with that arrow, but as usual that crosseyed baby w/ angel wings missed and hit my muse.....so my muse is probably in some hospital somewhere trying to recover or even maybe in a coma

Friday night I went out, for the first time in a long time, and I was hit with such a deluge of childhood memory I was certain that I'd do nothing but write as soon as I got home.
I got home and was able to come up with nothing...

My muse is really fickle... but sometimes I wish I could kill him off, things would be easier!

Yeah having a muse is like another person who's not very reliable sometimes.

Moon Dust - a very good question.  I guess all of us has a time of the day when the muse is most prevanlent.  Don't know what this means, but mine strikes at all times.  I have pulled off to the side of the road to write a verse, written some on the potty, woke up in the wee hours of the morning to write, even in the shower, in the park, while having lunch, while fishing in a boat, etc......

But I do love it, and pray that it never stops.

I get this some times too. Other times, I have not a bit of writing within me. That is much more upsetting to me. But yeah, its funny, when its working on you, its unstoppable. I have started writing at work many times. Or jumped out of bed in search of writing material. (I now keep some under the bed) All I can say is Write On!
