You know...I understand that people like having their poetry read and replied to...I mean after all its why we post here right? And you tend to respond more to the people who reply to you...but I have a friend who writes here...Jaime Fradera...and Jaime is blind...he isnt able to reply to your poems except by email...and I get so frustrated watching his poems slip off the page...so come on Passions...give Jaime a read...I'm not asking you to read out of sympathy...he is a very fine poet...just give him a chance...find one of Jaimes poems...EVICTION NOTICE is great

Paula, I'm glad I read this, thank you for sharing this with us, you are right it should not be this way.....

I read this and was delighted...Wow! Isn't technology great that we can now share our love of words 'online' with those unable to see..     I know we have had talking books for some time but this is terrific...

Can you tell me more about the program Jaime is using, i.e. the name and how it works for him?..Is it across all platforms?  The cost and where it can be obtained?

Sorry for the questions but I can see the difference this would and will make to so many people..

HUGS

Not only is Jaime's work wonderful to read, his story in the Prose Forum is outstanding... Take a few moments to go there and read a bit about him, folks.  You'll never be able to bypass anything he posts from then on...

You'll be very happy that you did, I assure you..

I read Eviction Notice when he first posted it....
and I thought it was a great piece.
I do believe I even posted a reply saying so.
If he has posted more, I am unaware of it as I have been so
busy with my family and son and getting readay for the holidays.
Not to mention my fish tank broke and I have been cleaning
up the mess from that and tearing up carpet.
I'll look for more today!

I'm very glad that you posted this. It's actually one reason why I don't post anymore. Most of the time when I'm here all I do is reply to things. It's almost not even worth posting unless you're some well-known writer. But enough of my complaining..lol...I will definitely look into Jaime's work. (My name's Jaime too...before I saw the last name I thought you meant me lol) Thanks! Hope you had a great holiday.   < !signature-->

Nan.... I did save the fish, but they later died.
One good thing... I now get to replace the capret with hard wood.....
