It's almost been a year that my dad passed away. On December 23, 1999, he died of colon cancer he was 56 he was the best dad in the world. Now it's getting closer only a week I see him walking around my house, he's saying "what are you doing my fairy princess?" I walk away. I'm so sad because I miss him alot. I just wish he could come back into our life's make us happy. These are the song's that remind me of him N*sync- This I promise you Backstreetboys- Show me the meaning of being lonely |

I understand your feelings very well. I lost my Father 14 years ago and I still miss him terribly. With time, the pain and the tears will pass but you will always have the memories. I know that for me those memories have sustained me through many difficult times in my life. I believe that their spirits do indeed watch over us sending us comfort and love, I'm sure that is true in your case as well. Take care! I hope all is well Minna! Have a happy holidays!!! Time will heal you.....meanwhile.......i don't know.....I haven't gone through this so I can't give advice. But I surely do hope that all is well.......  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them! |

PrettyGirly- I'm sorry you're feeling so down. It's totally understandable, and hardest around the holidays. Just know that your father IS around you, he see's you and hears you. And he will be with you, in spirit, during the holidays and every other day. I know it won't make it easier, but it's at least good to know that they're still around, even if you can't see them. I'm sure your father was a wonderful man, and that he is very proud of you. He'll never be out of your life, hon. He may not be there physically, but he WILL be there, nonetheless.
