Small Town, Somewhere

I feel like I'm starting a surreal tale from some science fiction novel, but I'm curious if this has happened to anyone else.

This weekend I was watching a band play and during one of their breaks, the lead guitarist came over to sit with me.  We talked for a bit, and I agreed to stay until the end of the show.  Afterwards, we talked for a few minutes and he said that they had to pack up and leave.  Normally, this wouldn't have bothered me at all... but for some reason I started to flip out.  It was like I was watching myself from a distance and my body belonged to somebody else.  I heard all of my words like they were coming from a different person.  And I watched "from a distance" my friends just gape at me and then try to silence my tirade.  The oddest part of the whole thing was the guys reaction to what I said.  First, he said lets not have this conversation again, especially with so many people watching.  And then he started to apologize and asked if we could start over.  It was like we were dating and in the middle of a continued fight.  My friends just stood opened mouthed as we had our "arguement".  The guy came up and gave me a hug and kiss and asked if we could talk about this later so the other band members wouldn't have to do all of the work. And he said he knew I was understanding enough to wait until the van was loaded so we could have some privacy.  Suddenly, I was "me" again and feeling slightly dazed.  He walked off, then turned around and gave me a look like "did that just happen?"

Neither of us had ever met before that night.  And for the life of me, I can't figure out anything that was said to make me flip out like that.  I got a call later from the guy apologizing for just kissing me like that.  He said he didn't know what came over him.  I apologized too, for my behavior, and told him I normally didn't act that way.  None of my friends could believe what they witnessed and keep asking me what he said to make me get so mad.  All I can say is it was like I became someone else for a little bit.  I don't know if I did a very good job explaining what happened...but I tried.   I'm just curious to see if anyone else has had something similar happen.  Let me know....

Yep, I've had something along those lines happen to me once.
A few years ago...and I can't even begin to explain the weirdness of it all.
I remember thinking how could I be feeling like this....
Email me.....I'll tell you all about it.

I can't recall a situation like that at the moment, but I can sure relate to that feeling of standing outside yourself, seeing what you're doing, and thinking what the hell came over me.

It's pretty a wild thing to experience. Like your spirit is standing off to the side watching your flesh go bezerk.

I know the feeling all too well.  It first seemed like a dream until I sat down and watched it on tape.  And another time, this is really wierd, happened when I was out with my girlfriend at the time and her ex started stocking her and once I realized it I was sitting outside of myself watching my body play a cat and mouse game with him.  One theory is that it is a past life came and assert itself.  That is if you believe that sort of thing.  Me?  I haven't come to any conclusions.  I have just come to accept that there are some things that I may never know the answer to.

Wow, no that never happened to me, but my thoughts are that you two knew eachother well in a past life, and suddenly when you met this time, something clicked.
Have you seen him again??
