What has been going on in Passions lately is making me feel really down..This thing between Christopher and Sven. I have never seen anything like this at Passions before, and frankly it is scary and it hurts to see two very nice people so angry at one another. It pains me to see hatred in a Circle of Friends...and I don't know what to do about it...I have a feeling like I should try to help...like a true friend, but I don't know what to do.. I'm confused, hurt, sad, and I'm sure there are other people that feel this way.. ~*~SCG~*~ |

Passions has now grown to a magnitude larger than many a small town... certainly smaller than the one where I grew up... a tiny place called Upton... with only 3000 residents - and not even a supermarket to be found - It hasn't changed since I left either - Passions, in comparison, is a small city... In a place this large, where people congregate in the numbers that we see here - Disagreements happen - just as they do in "real" time, offline. Tempers flare, and they subside. It's inevitable. As it happens, we certainly have had previous incidences here in these forums. When we did, we dealt with it and went on. That's what we'll do now as well. Let's look at a much brighter side of our wonderful cyber-world. We're producing a hardbound edition of the very best of Passions in Poetry... Let's allow the frivolity and excitement of that venture to supercede the frustrations of occasional disagreements. I'm sure we can do that, can't we?? |

Hey - I think that considering A: my arguementative nature and B: how many people there are here... that I've only had real problems with two people is damned good!  And "hatred," at least from my side, is the wrong word!  |

Yes..but it doesn't change the way I feel. My friends have had disagreements before, and I have dealt with them in stride...but passions means alot to me...it's a chapter in my life that I don't want to lose..I always lose friends, but I gain new ones...Passions is different. Chris...Yes, it is good that you have only 2 people you are arguing with....but what about this time next year? I think there may have been anger, but certainly not hatred. No one hates anyone here (if they do, Lavada, we'll smack them around! Wanna help?) So let's move on...think of some fun things to do and don't perpetuate the current trend of he said/she said stuff... How about a silly challenge or something? Or head over to the Alley and play the game with us - what game are YOU?  And smile! |

I would also have to agree that "hatred" is not the word I'd use here. . .  But, now it's over. . . we've shaken hands and moved on. . . as should everyone. . . we have a book coming out. . . let's celebrate that and not dwell on the bad things. . . Besides. . .
