How can someone say "I can't love you the way I want to?" I have given all my love to a special sperson (special to me anyway) and this person is married but she doesn't love her husband, but she stays for the children(which I can understand), but she says she can't love me the way she wants to. I guess I'm not really asking a question as much as I am stating a feeling of huge confusion. |

Well sweetheart, at a guess I would say she meant that she can't: - Hug you Love you Touch you Talk to you Support you Have dinner with you Sleep with you Laugh with you Share with you as much as she could or would, if she were free to do so, in another words, it isn't enough for her...but that's just a guess.. It sounds like to me she's saying that even though she loves you, she can't love you like she's wants to. For example I'm sure she would love to lay in your arms and love you all night but has to get up and go. Her mind is always on her family in the back of her mind. Responsibility to her family and you can be a struggle so I'm sure she does say she can't love you the same way. Sometimes I'm sure she's torn between two worlds that even though she loves you. She has to overtake so many things that it's hard to always fit you in the picture. Love in the end is responsibility committment and so many other things so I would think that's a little of what she meant. Which probably still leaves you with huge questions. |

She cannot commit herself to you...and to know in her heart that to forego the commitment already made, without cutting all ties [i.e., staying for and with the kids], then she would let you down as she has let herself down in this first marriage. No, she is right, she cannot love you like she would, if she could. |
