I'm very proud to say this.... this past weekend, i recieved a letter from The International Library of Poetry...in which they told me that my poem 'I don't' (which i happened to put on here as well) has reached the semifinalist level!! I'm really hyped because I didn't really think my poetry was that good...anyway, I just thought I'd let some of ya know what was going on with my life.....not that it matters or anything  take care, tim no matter where you're going, the most important step is the first one. |

Ahh Tim. I am very happy for you. I have received the very same letter. Except for the fact that I live in Australia. It is always a good feeling to know that someone appreciates your work enough to grant you access to a semi final stage of a competition. Tell me, have you ever received a letter from them before? |

Hi...if you go look in some of the other forums, you will see that this publisher will tell you that your poem is a semi-finalist..they want to sell you their book.. We've all been taken in by this...Check out the Q&A and Announcement forums.... There are many reputable publishers out there...head over to the Publishers Forum and check them out.. Don't ever give up writing..it's the only way to express you souls...  |
