It must be the greatest thing on earth, but it hurts so many people. Why? Also, How do I know whether or not to totally persue someone? Should I try to convince someone to love me even though they might not. Why is this so hard? I'm exasperated! ------------------ |

I know how you feel, Brandon. I think the reason it hurts is BECAUSE it's the greatest thing on Earth, and so when something does not go right it will hurt more. When you love someone better than all the rest and they hurt you, it's going to take longer for that hurt to heal, because you love them so much...I hope this is making sense! About the convincing part: that's a tough one. I think if someone is going to love you, you will know it will happen, even beofre they do. It's just something you can sense, deep inside of you. At least that was how it was for me. I hope you never have to "convince" someone to love you. If that is the way it goes then it will never last. If on the other hand you want to spend time with someone so that they can get to know you....Totally different story. Real, true love is something that HAS to start with friendship. If you do not enjoy the person ans spending time with then on a friendship level it will never last. Communication is the key to any relationship. This must be established at the beginning and worked on throughout. If you can not just BE with someone without expectations and be totally comfortable with them, you have a good start. I do hope this made some sense to you. |

I have to agree with Marilyn on this one, and add my own little view point: Once you fall in love, Love becomes hope, a reason for life. Hope is suicide. Therefore, Love is suicide. ------------------ Thinking is just what a great many people think they are doing when they are merely rearranging their predjudices. |
