The first one...sometimes being alone is the best 'company'..being by yourself in other words.

The second.....society or mankind...our best quality or 'good point' as a whole is to tolerate others...to allow them to be.....

The third.....giving our enemies the means to our destruction...we let our enemies know where our weak spots are.....

Just my interpretation.......
