The mouse that roared is famous
As is my boy toy Mick
But mice have a reputation
Of being nothing but ick

The Pied Piper was a meany
He piped his was to fame
At the expense of my ancestors
And he did it without shame!

Everyone tries to catch us
Cruel traps are set each day
Whenever anyone sees us
They try to get away!

We’re not so bad really
When you take the time
To really get to know us
That’s why I wrote this rhyme

You think that we are sneaky
Trying to steal your cheese
But you can cheat on your taxes
Well come on now please!

You think we’re dirty vermin
Have you smelled your pits today?
You think we gorge on your food
Hmm, how much do you weigh?

We’ve decided to sue the lot of you
A class action suit is what we mean
So prepare to go before the judge
To explain why you’re so mean!

~ Oh my! I've never, ever been mean to a mouse! No! Not ever! ~ even though they have freaked me out when they got into my house! I would get my husband to catch the little "darlings" (don't want to offend them!)into a bucket and then release each one of them into the field! ~ only for them to return again ~ because ours was such a warm and mouse-loving home! lol
