...Here we go.
I don't like posting more than one poem per day.
But this one has a special meaning for me. It's about the person I love and how difficult is for me to take the situation that we can't be toghether and how difficult is for me to understand that maybe, just maybe, i have to wait a little.
Once again thank you to all those who supported me on my last poem, thank you for the critics and the advice, thank you deeply.

When I Asked God (For you, Yess)

My Life
Since the Beginning
has been nice

i had my loved ones
which with time
unfortunately faded away
i had my friends
many of them dissapear
when i most needed them
but some of them stayed
showing me what true friendship was

Everything was
perfect for me
until i asked god
if he couldn't bring me
a new love
to bring back
that long lost feeling
to my heart

he gave me
a single chance
one night
to prove if i could tell you
what i felt for you

i took the chance
and we were toghether that night
but then you left and we hardly talked

what happened?
didn't you tell me that you've been waiting
for someone like me
to appear in your life?

why did you change?
why did you left me
with just a warm kiss
in my lips?

i fell in love with you
i can't forget you
since then

weeks have passed
why don't you tell me what happened?
what made you leave?

Running from the truth
i went and talked to god
a night just like
when i met you
just like the one
when you gave me your heart
i shouted

God! Answer my call!
tell me if she is there waiting
or if she has found someone else
tell me
if my yess still loves me.

-------------------------------------------------
I know this is long, but it's something i needed to share, as i'm suffering a lot for her...i just needed to share it.
thank you for reading

Denis.

A stirring, and empassioned spill from your heart and onto the page.

~ As you love, may you be loved in return!
