Flowers of Fruition

In barren soil there is no hope for emergent energy
Notwithstanding the potent love of the sun
There will be no flowers of fruition

Without the warm sun emblazon on the fertile mire,
Where brown earth dreams an orgasmic green inside,
There will be no flowers of fruition

When the sunshine cheeks to cheek with the mire
To bring the souls combined as two and one
There will be flowers of fruition

And seasons will fade the suns love shining
Leaving her to forget her lost dreams
Soon dead her flowers of fruition

Just as so, sometimes the earth is scorched from a star
Flinching back from a heat too searing
Burning up flowers of fruition

Once gone and dead, a new season springs again
For where and when conditions are the best
Flowers of fruition living and dying

I am the two-toed wanderer
