Wordiness becomes me Words are the jewelry that I say They adorn my conversations I wear them throughout my ‘every day’ Like shiny chains around my neck Words wrap around my throat Each strand is linked by sentences They are links to poems that I wrote Each word shines on my fingers Like rings they sparkle in the sun Once seed pearls in my garden They accessorize me when my writing’s done. aziza |
