I bite my lip controlling words on tip of tongue that would spill out in venomous spew due to you who presents yourself untrue and it boils under my skin just how thin your alibis lie in white wash trying to make me believe your intentions are real does your heart not feel the pain you cause; haven’t you ever given pause to all those moments that you've left me unnoticed while others are blessed with happiness when you swing the gates wide, stepping inside to make their day yet, never once glancing my way... I'd rather that you shut the gate so I don't wait anymore, only to find I'm being ignored. I think today I'll buy new paint colored in black to paint that fence so that it might match the shade of heart that your soul lacks....
