my mind was handsome with fingers
and you were many mouths
pressing your lips
to shhh sounds

touching my thumbs
with your eyes
telling me of
a meadow of hands

and their pleasure in bronze
when the sun rose to dance
and they folded to worship
just the edges of her dawn

there was laughter then
as our mouths made water
and we wrote our poems
with the pens of our whispers

and the ink spend of our saliva

I can't think of a better way to start the day than with my daily dose of DS.  *grin*  This is beyond lovely, sure do love when you let that big ole' bear loose.

When you write pretty,
you do it so effortlessly
that one would think
you sat in some shadow light
just miming hands
and watching pens float.

My Tuesday is now terrific.

shhh
is the only thing that can be said
in the presence of a mind handsome with fingers

the poem sings and cries
Stranger...

here,
white fire
shadows fade
come
    and gone

flicker talk

I wonder
of handsome minds
meadows and hands

barefoot, do I
dare linger

there?

As always, Dark, I am in awe. I didn't get a chance to congratulate you on your 6,000 th, so I shall do it now. It is always a pleasure to spend a few moments meandering through your thoughts. I have said it before, and I repeat it now, I am truly one of your biggest fans.

I missed the party too Stranger
let me say this...

nobody does it better
nobody does it half as good as you
Stranger Stranger, you're the best...

(blatantly lifted from Carly Simon
who also missed the party)

congratulations
