The Day Each day to me a fantasy A rainbow full of quality A time that I am full awake Without the candles on the cake Each stride I take I’m full aware The weight upon my back I bare And yet I take a step ahead And will till I am surely dead Each moment comes I’m not quite sure How long in time I can endure The strong will stand the weak will fall The rest will wait in turn a call I see the angels hover me As demons play a game with me I walk a line as thin as strife And play the game of time and life Yet I am not afraid to say I welcome each and every day |
