Abducted from the parking lot
anybody see the blond
brunette, any head
how could it take so long
rest stops see a nameless
trail of hustled buyers,
to remember every face
at the cash
the girlfriend of...
right
the cops think you're the
idiot who lost his girlfriend
to some hick mobster
while at the oily pumps

Well the couple
with the girl missing
had this spat
do you love me squabble
concluded with a set in stone
will love, honor
disobey he didn't say
but she shook her bum
to the take out counter
and vanished for three years
into the take-out air.

what about who took her
abducted from a parking lot
man in white, rehearsed infinite
moves to deploy a secret weapon
of 'invite the young lady to
the car door with the promise
of special wrist bands',
infinte logo motif
the kind you would don
except for chloroform dampened cloths
and the time it takes to transport
comatose bodies to premature
shallow graves in the hope
another victim
abducted in the style
of the first
or perhaps induced to drink
a quantity of x marks the spot
liqour that knocks the lights
out
would want to know
where the other body lay
in wood crate surround sound
probably now a corpse;
obsessed by not in the know
what makes a man want to become
equally evil as he was
in good
nothing!
it was all natural..
when he fell forward
from balcony heights
years earlier he changed
entertained fantasies
of pushed nefarious deeds
bathed in anesthetic liquor

the abductor's wife
thought other affairs
a hidden stocking
maybe some lip gloss
that divided
but the affairs
he chased at drive-ins
were psycho..
