Listening to every heart

Cusp’s Knowledge

The glistening glory of one morn’s keep
allows now a moon’s cool shadow to reap
the white of time over which are drawn lines
dividing years over swift moment’s time

Under clearing skies, as the stars now shine
sensations floating above all dark clime
as some mystery hangs in its silence
deeply noting is you, your sweet absence

Tomorrow, they say, will be warmer, still,
I would imagine your footfalls at will
to mark a presence, to gift me assured
that you are with me, as God keeps His word

now, as snows may melt, footsteps shall recall
in this New Year, as memories befall.
