October winds have grown cold now
Autumn has shed her many colors
Warm is the glow upon fingers
aching from years spent laboring

with love

and the giving of self
to those needing
while denying needs of own.

Lines now show on skin
once smooth,
of the tired and weary kind
that sleep cannot cure.

It is now that the mind flies with time
not slowing down long enough to see,
but to only capture quick glimpses

into possibilities

never lingering

long enough for visions to
focus

through the dark

in the constant race
to catch the light

to find the bright spot
in any given day...

to remain
in it's warmth

for a few moments,

more.

I'm getting by but the truth is I'm still standing, knee deep, in yesterdays rain. T Keith.

See, little one?  Even in the rush and flow of run and go...you still acknowledge...

possibilities.

Your gentle spirit will always see
with that inner eye.

Happy New Year, little one!
