You've nothing for a heart
But stone
And you deserve to
be alone.

You think you're perfect
And oh so nice
But everyone knows you're
Made of ice.

You're really dead, you're
Not for real
Yet hearts you crush
With claws of steel.

One day you'll have
To pay the cost
For all you stole
From those that lost.

And when your body's as
Dead as your heart
And from this world you
Do depart.

Don't look to God to
Call for you
'Cause Satan is going
To carry you.

To the bottomless pit
Of Hell below
Where you'll finally reap
Just what you sow.

To thy own self be true

Dang June Marie,
I thought that was up to God! Hmmm Though he did say "by their fruits you shall know them". Just a little bit of fruit inspection going on here. Intense write.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Dear Larry,

Out of all the poems I've written, this is the only angry one. I guess everyone has their breaking point.

I have to admit though, I felt very good when I was done.

Have a Merry and Blessed Christmas.

Dixie, yeah, but the real intensity came from the relief I felt when I finished writing it.

Have a great yule time season.

June Marie,
No apologies required. I've got a few of similar vein myself. Hope I didn't offend.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
