So far apart

There is a beauty deep inside you
That only others see
Because of how you judge yourself
So harsh and critically
A soft quiet kind of innocence
Fresh as an open spring
You glide so through
My love sworn eyes
I melt at just the thought
That through this troubled time
We are so far apart
Wondering if the spaces
Between your heart and mine
Could ever gap the distance
And find some warm confine
Where everything you whisper
I hear and understand
Where talking isn’t broken
But an easy joyful time
I love you doesn’t tell you
How much that I perceive
Saying that I’m sorry
Is beyond what you believe
To be the light, the glory
That sparkle in your eye
No longer tells the story
The love you can’t deny
Is standing by
Waiting, wondering
watching.

I thought that this poem was ok, but i loved the meaning behind it. I feel a sense of some forced flow.Thank you for sharing this poem

Hello Richard. I love your poem. Reminds me of a lot I have written, since my Honey Love and I have a long-distance relationship.......because of circumstances beyond our control. We have very high phone bills. LOL
