Travail of Love

Of moments private to share,
a celebration in God's name.
An almighty event, her eyes to shine,
a daughter to the sunlight born,
as to justice over loss inside.

A mother forgiving, her way forth known,
where children were a making, a travail of love.
Her happiness, a centre to in attention abide,
her solace, a night sky of bright stars to grace.

To weather a storm,
in reaching out to a comforter from afar
All in being a man of gentle kindness,
perhaps her rock to a new Plymouth in thanksgiving.

For only then will he know of her desire,
the love to take away all pains of past deed.
A new surrounding, one not to be alone.
Her birth, her bodily beauty, and intelligent thoughts,
private in moments to share, yet to rejoice and bear.
