Do You Seek The Answers?

Prayers lifting in the air drums beating in the blood, power here
good medicine people gathered for the healing.
Secrets carried on the winf friends reaching out to
friends, stories told of long ago sacred fire built of oak.
Lodges built of wood and earth in a circle as they should
be,grandmothers faces shine with love for the children of Mother Earth.
Warriors dance the tales of hunting teaching prayers to the young
ones, women dance to bring forth Selu precious food from Creator.
Every movement every word are ancient given from the first
days, little people and the winged ones watch closely from the forest.
Animal kin and bird people help to teach all things have
spirits,of all things created we are the least ones.
Learn from the world around you the brash two legs are
destroyers, time now for healing this time is set for the women.
Elders call and we gather with respect we show honor, this is your
blood calling let your heart sing in answer.
Prayers lift the sun is rising so much now is accomplished, the
message now is spreading from our ancestors to their grandchildren we
are the seventh generation!

What beauty you bring to us~

'Elders call and we gather with respect we show honor'

How we do honor the elders of our blood ...

Thank you for this blessed reminder~

Siyo Pressie the history of my Peoples is a sad one for five hundred years, and is not taught the truth of it in the history books written by those who conquer. It is important that others see us as we are truly,a People who love the land, the animals, the very stones upon our path that hold ancients secrets and lessons much needed by all.Until the truth is known there can be no true peace for there is no shared respect of ways,no understanding and growing. It is my hope that one day we all live as one People!

You keep on teaching, they will keep on learning, and peace will indeed come to all who heed the word.  Lovely words from one granny to another, and anyone who reads.
