sunlight on roses
a late summer breeze
clouds floating by
like boats on a lake
fishing
going nowhere fast
searching
for a reason to last
blades of grass
wild and free
going where they will
chaos unleashed
butterfly wings
add color to the scene
a robin sings
of what he's seen
laying on a hill
in an autumnesque mood
thinking of the colors
soon to mix
watching the sunset
in red blue and yellow too
watercolors set in motion
painted just for you
stars come out
to twinkle and shine
stealing the spotlight
with magic
off in the distance
fireworks call
rolling through the clouds
that got so tall
spreading out
in booms and snaps
bright lights fading
passing with time
as light appears
on the horizon it poses
as the sun hovers
putting sunlight on roses

No one is more professional than I. I am a Noncommissioned Officer, a leader of soldiers.

Lovely...absolutely beautiful!

Now - while the leaves still dance on the wind
While the moon and the clouds come spinning
Will you whisper my name again?
Again..and again....

And you write, too.

I love all the lines,
this is my favourite.

"clouds floating by
like boats on a lake"

such serenity...

enjoyed.
