The Misty Wall

I camp before a misty wall
In lieu each day to make a coup
The breath and width of mental tall
So thin the porridge that I stew

I cannot change humanity
Nor can I change from dust to dust
Make sanity of vanity
Nor even find the true I trust

I cannot stop my egos tears
That runs the gauntlet of each day
Nor can I stop my psyches fears
Nor even make it go away

And as I frown the sands fall down
To empty out my time of slot
The mirror seems to show a clown
Is this the earnings of my lot?

I hang upon a cross of force
And would an inkling, of is course

IHi Seymour! I get to be the first to comment on your beautiful poem.
There was a time, a long time ago, when I tried to change humanity. But, it just couldn't be done.

Sir Sy
how beautiful

we all camp before a misty wall
and though we can change nothing
we can keep each other company

thank you for your words
