The Ending of an Era,
The autumn months remain as my twilight years,
I can picture you in my mind,
Looking into my eyes with yours.

An orchard of oak,
The orange scene beyond me,
The mix of ageing colours,
With yourself, standing before me,
Venus in her true form, Aphrodite lives on.

It has been so long and empty,
I cannot remember the soft touch of your lips,
Your Exquisite aroma,
Your hand on passing down my cheek,
Or the moment we first embraced with a kiss.

To share one last embrace,
To feel your silk lips on mine once again.

This is how I spend my days,
Dreaming of a dwindling hope,
That gets further away as I run towards it.

The autumn scene is a dream,
Thought up by my imagination,
As our past memories fade into nothingness

But there is still life in this seemingly dead world,
It’s when I see you, talk to you and hear you.
Life, which is given a boost by your smile, and happiness.

Even if, with the extraordinary power of the mind, we can never, be together.

~ Not a pleasant situation. I've been there and thank God-ness, those days have passed ~ and I hope they soon will, for you.

A touching, emotive piece of writing.

Loving Light,
