Water
and a fingerpoint
circles widen with the gift
of center
singular
adrift
arced and echoed
ripplin's
dancing like the words
of Him
reconcilied and disciplined
into blues of stifled hymns
feathered by the promises
of Emily ben Dickinson
scribbled in the owl-light
of dusk between
the weatherings
as breezes husk the autumn sheathed
between the branches of the "Y"
stoic lantern
shining might
Luna
laughing lunatic
casting shadows,
rifling
looking for definitives
with a lick of finger as
she bends the pages
of "what is"
in argument
of "used-t'be..."

patting dawgs contentedly
  scratched behind the ear...

she said:

I do believe that I wrote this

and tossed the words aside.
