Treats

Often, in discussion with the moonlight
I uncover places previously missed at twilight
Messages upon the plump of acorns, near November
Carved, abbreviated notes in the bark of autumn ember
Delight that speaks poetry in scents of gold and green
Voices escalate along trails where I have never been
Anticipation sits ready for the frosting of quiet time
Crunching through the leaves that dried still on the vine
Red, the berries of a trump card bush, chain mail for morning
Anticipation
Never, at the boundless woodland pallet, have I been lost
Not for time, or imagination, or for another Tee uncrossed
For paradise is found within, hospitable and welcomed ways
Surprise awaits the eyes that see between Evergreen sways
As body language fingerprints forgiveness on the air
Filtering it’s clearing comb throughout soft gold of flaxen hair
I am free of longing what is not to be, left with simple ought to be
Often, in discussion with the moonlight
I uncover places previously missed at twilight

Hi, TD.

That is a soft, sweet, loving ode to nature and life.

Well done.
