Now for something a little different.  I hope that you like it:

Love’s Enmity Sublime

O, Beauty!  In true love’s name doth flow
That Magic of life wilt newly show.
How, few hours spent perusing time
Doeth nothing for a love’s pure rhyme
Yet, ‘twill sing the soul to mend, to grow.

And Jealous!  Love’s enmity sublime,
Dost hardscrabble claw thru filth and grime
To wither, impugn what one has not
Whilst deeds and words as a scourge will wrought
A reckoning of vile timbre will climb.

Fear not pure love! A veil of naught
Conceals webs of lies that seethe and rot.
Love and laugh, anathema to hate,
Open wide a glimpse to Heaven’s gate
That Jealous could not have ever bought.

O, Magic!  Beauty is love’s true state.
Jealous!  Forever in darkness wait.
For love, the light and goodness doth know
The Sun, Moon, Stars do brightly glow
To illuminate love’s grandest fate.

I prefer to be a dreamer among the humblest, with visions to be realized, than lord among those without dreams and desires. -Khalil Gibran

Sorry John, I think I just swooned.

HAHAHA!

Good answer!  I love it...

Thanks for that winning accolade to my anciently worded poem!

By the way, believe it or not, that's the way my mind works all of the time.  I have to tone down the archaic language to write "normal" prose.

SEE!  I told you I was a romantic!

*SWOON*
