The Pill of Why

This Randy Dandy went on a fly
Eating peyote mescaline pie
Never left the ground but thought he did
What flew away was only his ID

He flew to the abyss of weird
On the tale of a long gray beard
Swung through the trees with the greatest of ease
Without the aid of a hanging trapeze

The weirdest of feeling I must admit
Watching those things of my own permit
Outside my body watching a fool
Thinking this flight the coolest of cool

But the next day the bells did toll
Tolled a lead sinker in my soul
Nailed me to the wait of ethos
Left me in a state of pathos

And now I hobble a path into night
With ghosts and goblins that fly in the light

I just happen to have the antidote to that med.

It's medical name is the Dapillahuidahellnot.

It's an excellent answer to the problem of "Why" but side effects are realities of happiness, open doors of perception, compulsive hugging, and a hypersensitivity to Seymour Tabin's poetry. OH. I should mention it's fairly addictive too.

Don't ask your doctor is this drug is right for you. Just tune into Pip daily for a dose. A little "Tab" oughtta do ya.

<--see? compulsive hugging, it's happening already!

OH. Use this drug with caution in computer chairs, as "bouncing" may result in contusions and broken trains of thought.

Lol, i love it.  Great write and insight.  Though many native tribes use these as religous practice and are practically inherent to their survival.  At least they are natural compared to the processed crap were putting in ourselves every day.  I really have a hard time telling whats worse hormones, sugars, sat fat, alcohol, nicotine, caffeine all of which lead to addictive behavior.  Whos making these decisions for us?

Sy,
What's done is, we all know that. Sometimes a curse, sometimes a blessing. Big questions are...
would you do it again , would you do it different knowing now what you know, and,
if you did, would you write the same way?
Just an observation.
Doc
