In a state of disrepair...

Twitching like a dying worm
is this boy upon the floor
Lying cowered by the door

Nothing in the room at all
the things he once accrued
sold them all to buy his "food"

With nothing left to help allay
sweating cramps are his today
No nostrum in his old array.

The dead idol in a picture frame
That old junkie Kurt Cobain
can not help him with his pain

Why did he choose him to emulate?
Simple.
He chose the man who could relate.

"The world won't end in darkness, it'll end in family fun
With Coca Cola clouds behind a Big Mac sun."

I realized this was why I chose some of my friends;  when I was really down, I searched for those that were down, whom I could relate too.  Now that I am better, but still getting better, I choose accordenly....James
