As
the stars shine
Above the world does stall knowing
What I lost makes no difference for it was what I
Was always bound to lose I gaze
Upon the stars wishing silently for a
Prayer to be answeredNo one nothing Just
A calm gaze glares back

A soft wind touches my face and I picture a time so long ago.
When I held her and she just sighed
When she was happy and so was I
Nothing but a memory as of now how can I change what has been done
What can I do to bring back one such as her
Tears had befell my face for in a instant I realized it wasn’t a waste
She was everything and more and never shall she be gone
For in my heart I always know our love is true
As the moon rises into the starlight sky and shines
So bright and free
It only reminds me of how things use to be
Your voice so soft and kind
And it still rings within my mind
I breathe in and recall the smell of your hair
It makes me sigh with hope and longing
Wishing for just one more day

Looking
At the starlight sky
Watching a shooting star pass by
Only seeing another wish never to be filled
Only wanting another love to be had
Taking a deep breathand holding it tight
I feel the warmtouch of a hand so
Soft and gentle It makes me feel

Like I’m home at last
