Remembering You Always

Those songs I still play
Which I will always treasure
As I hear your voice
I embraced in the pleasure

Even though miles apart
Loving thoughts I will endear
Those audio messages
Words whispered to my ear

Gifts with loving affection
I keyed into the tender touch
That's the reason why
I have missed you so much

Never will I ever forget you
As the memories still remain
For here upon my heart
Forever etched is your name

Remembering you always
Everything about you felt right
Because you are the one
That first inspired me to write

Beautifully written, and one that I can relate to in my own personal way.

"Melvin, the best thing you got going for you is your willingness to humiliate yourself."

Whatever "the one" gave to us... they will never be forgotten... and a word, a song, a smell can all tumble us instantly into remember. *S* Beautiful!
