'Though I live, I lack... LIFE !
There are no unchartered sensory seas.
Repetition is my shadow
Stifled by familiarties.
First fruit's flavor is a memory, vague
I mourn emotional illumination.
I pine for the incomparable
pleasure of initiation.

I've grown old, within.
I'm dulled and weak.
My emotions are numb.
My senses creak.

Two sets of initials...
from two young initiates...
Encompassed by a hearted outline...
No other time shall be as sweet !
How I wish one set were mine !

Therefore, I must shake off the dust
that this "me" has settled beneath,
and with the daring of youth...
EXPERIENCE Truth
Wear LIFE like a laurel wreath.

Upon my head proudly bear
the Laurel Crown of LIFE,
and hope my quest does not test
the patience of my wife.

Wish me luck.

Love the last two lines!! LOL.
Of course I wish you tons of luck on your quest..
I don't think you need go far.
It sort of bubbles up from within.
So, set your inner child free..
and ENJOY!!

Uriah
It is a song I hear, how the gray grows grayer. Good write, enjoyed.
