Ribbon Sound

An emissary, the sky offered white stepping-stones
Submitting a pathway to lift my thoughts
Hunger growled in my belly though I craved not
Our spirits conversed at the magenta ridge
Where light opened there, and threw fingers to the earth

The songs were herald of the opening of day, tomorrow
Promise still to be seen, if only to the interested few
Token in the trailing flight of swallows, finishing then
And moved me closer to the goodness of your heart
Cupping the wandering winds of ending to begin again

Our spirits float in the songs of ancient gathering
Flower and fruit, an offering to nourish harmony
My heart is full, in the ribbon sounds of nearness
We have grown so close and come so far
I tug the satin rope closed behind me, to see you
For another first time

Very Nice. (Cupping the wandering winds of ending to begin again). Perhaps that line makes one think about the vast circle of life or love. Mayhap life and love go hand in hand?
